The Honest Award!

The Yummy Mummy on a Pink Park Bench nominated me for this lover-ly award.

I feel very special. Here are the rules:

"The Honest Scrap award comes with a caveat or two. First, you have to tell your readers ten things about you they may not know, but that are true. Second, you have to tag 10 people with the award. Third, let all the people you've given the award to know that they've gotten it (comment on their blogs or something). And finally, make sure you link back to the person who awarded you."

I feel like my bloggie buddys know so much about me already so I will have to think really hard on these. Here goes:

Number one/a: I have always been interested in the paranormal. Even as a child. I also always wanted to be involved in a ghost hunting group. I interviewed with a few groups around Maryland and was accepted into Eastern Paranormal Research and was with them for about a year. Scheduling and time became an issue so I no longer participate but I had a BLAST with them, saw some amazing stuff, went to some really historical places, got behind the scenes and was allowed to photograph all of it! Good times.

Number two/b: During Red Sox season, during a game, I feel like if I don't wear my Sox shirt and hat and use my Sox blankie they will lose. True Story.

Number three/c: One of my favorite foods is chopped up, fresh tomatos with green olives and olive juice on it. To die for..

Number four/d: My husband and I quote Forrest Gump at least once every single day. We love that film. We also share a passion for Tom Hanks. Since 1998 we have seen every TH film in the cinea and we purchase the dvd on release date (even that horrid Lady Killers). He is a god in our house.

Number five/e: I love ALL animals. Seriously. Every one of them. I am happiest when in the company of animals. I even love rodents..squirrels, rats, mice, possoms, GROUNDHOGS..I always get raised eyebrows on that but I love them...and I will feed anything that wants to come live at my house. Come on over boys..

Number six/f: I think Patsy Cline is one of the best female singers of all time.

Number seven/g: I still own and play the original Nintendo. I am a sucker for old skool Mario and Luigi

Number eight/h: I think music make anything better. My ipod is with me always. When/if I ever forget it some place I am miserable. I always wanted to learn to play the violen. The music that comes from the violen can reach into my chest and pull my heart out. It's intense.

Number nine/i: Sometimes I still purchase the "toy" from Mcdonalds.

Number ten/j: I love vintage clothing. Party dresses, skirts, shoes, aprons, everything. Love them.

My ten:...disclaimer..I realize that I always tag the same ten folks but I really only follow VIP's :) So there aren't many of you to tag. Deal with it :)

Please be sure to have all your Sox garb on hand for all 162 games this season to ensure you can wear them again into October - OK? Promise me that and I'll share our honest scraps as requested.

P.S. Every time I see that CSI show with Gary Sinise all I can think of is Lt. Dan!

P.S.S. I played the violin for about 8 years. But my skills would have made you want to rip your ears out I'm sure. Nothing as beautiful as the sound of Patsy's voice.

Aww - thank you! Ten things about me could be scary...

♥♥♥ Patsy Cline, too! But I am sure that doesn't surprise you!

You already know I love Forrest Gump...and Stonewall is the same way. He has the whole movie memorized. You know how in "You've Got Mail" they use a quote from "The Godfather" for any situation in life? Well, Stonewall and I believe any quote from Forrest Gump can fit life. We're cool people like that :)

The paranormal thing is awesome! I actually think my house is hanuted and I really hope I'm right. I love old Nintendo too. I played it up until college. Now it's packed away, but I refuse to get rid of it.

Great list!!

A and M-I'm on it!!!

Rabs-It doesn't :) But I love that about you!

You should see the original version of the Lady Killers, starring Peter Sellers and Alec Guinness! It's one of my favourite movies! :D

Thank you so much for tagging me! I'm touched. :)

T just rented The Lady Killers. I couldn't watch it with him (I've seen it). I love Coen brothers films but that was terrible, I agree.

Did I ever tell you, I took violin lessons for a year. I had always wanted to learn it. I really loved it but didn't have the time to give it the practice it deserved.

Richard- I will have to add that to my queue and check it out. :)

B-I didn't know that! That makes you even more radical to me! :)
